Local History Fayre

On Saturday 6th October 2018, Aston cum Aughton History Group took part in the Local History Fayre hosted by Killamarsh Heritage Society in the Parish Suite, Killamarsh Leisure Centre, Stanley Street, Killamarsh. Also in attendance were history groups from Whitwell, Barlborough, Bolsover, Eckington, Kiveton & Wales, Mosborough and Harthill. Chesterfield Canal Trust also had a display. Although it was a rainy day, it was busy with visitors over the whole day.

The 2019 Local History Fayre will be hosted by Harthill with Woodall Memories and History Society on Saturday 12th October 2019 in the Harthill Village Hall, Winney Hill, Harthill, S25 7UL.

Future similar days will be held in Eckington in 2020 and Aston in 2021.
